I am unapologetically pro-life and have been endorsed by both the Indiana Right to Life and National Right to Life. We must respect life, from the unborn, to the most elderly among us. During my previous service, I built a clear and consistent record of standing up for life. I believe future generations will judge the values of our society based on how we move forward on this issue. For many candidates, the issue of life has become simply another point in their social platform. For me, it runs much deeper than that. It speaks right to the heart of the inalienable rights that our Founders identified in the Declaration of Independence, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” My conviction to support life begins at conception, but does not end at the birth of a child. A free and just society must not tolerate disrespect for life, as it must not tolerate a burdensome government that limits our other liberties. As your congressman, I will be a firm and consistent defender of life.
